This project is the result of the response we have had to our music. Our concerts and recordings have evoked many positive and personal comments from our audiences. People have told us stories of how our music has helped them, lifted their spirits, and put their own thoughts into words. It seemed apparent that our music touched their hearts, speaking to them in a way that only music can.
With that in mind, we set out to find inspirational music that would soothe the soul, heal the heart and inspire the imagination. As we sifted through the realm of music, from traditional spirituals to classical, the recurring theme of each selection we chose seemed to be one of hope, miracles and prayer. In each piece, a different parable can be heard -- stories of loss and rebirth, loneliness and solace, despair and hope, sadness and joy, dreams and miracles. As we recorded, God was present in the words, the melody and the rise and fall of each musical phrase. As you share this journey, we hope that not only will you hear our music, but that you will peer into our hearts and into your own. And in that special moment, may you feel God’s presence.
