Constance Cannon-Executive Director/Musical Director
Constance Cannon, pianist
for GAUDEAMUS, earned a Bachelor of Music, Piano Performance
from the Philadelphia College of the Performing Arts in 1980 and a
Master’s Degree from Temple University in 1984. She is a member of the
the music faculty at Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School and
Director of Music at Epiphany of Our Lord. Catholic Church in
Plymouth Meeting, PA, where she has served for twenty five years.
Mrs. Cannon was inducted into the Cardinal O’Hara High School
Hall Of Fame on 2003 for her work in music ministry.

Anthony Pirollo, cello, attended the Philadelphia Musical Academy.
where he studied with William DePasquale. He has toured internationally
with various ensembles including “The Spring Piano Trio”. Mr. Pirollo
was a solo cellist for the world premiere of Meredith Monk’s opera
“Atlas”. He is Assistant Musical Director for the Bel Canto Opera
Company and is a frequent performer of classical music. Mr. Pirollo
is also a composer and arranger.
Sarah Agnew performs classical, commercial, sacred, and Irish music in
the Philadelphia PA area. She sings sacred music with GAUDEAMUS,
sang the national anthem at a Philadelphia Eagles game, and sings
Irish music at St. Patrick's Day and other events, such as AOH functions
and festivals. The Old Man is her first Irish music CD and contains
various childhood favorites. She has also recorded several sacred music
CDs, which are also available. She is currently associated with many
organizations and charities. Sarah was born and lives in the suburbs of
Philadelphia, PA. She has been singing and performing Irish music
since the age of ten. She has studied voice at the Bryn Mawr Conservatory
of Music and has studied privately in New York City. She is a graduate
of Temple University and is currently pursuing her Master's Degree
in Music Therapy.
Luigi Mazzocchi was born in Venezuela, where he studied violin with
Jose F. Del Castillo. In his native country, he was a founder of the
Lara State Symphony Orchestra, first concertmaster of the Chamber
Orchestra of Venezuela and a member of the "Simon Bolivar" Symphony
Orchestra where he recorded a number of CDs of Latin American music
conducted by Eduardo Mata. Since 1996, Luigi has been living in
the U.S. where he graduated from Rowan University with a BM and Temple
University with a MM. Mr. Mazzocchi has substituted for the Philadelphi
Orchestra, the Pennsylvania Ballet and the Philly Pops. He is currently
a member of the Opera Company of Philadelphia, the Delaware Symphony,
the Ocean City Pops and on faculty of the Willmington Music School.
He lives in Philadelphia with his wife Maria and their two children
Luigi and Andrea.
